Oregon is a hotspot for MKUltra propaganda and indoctrination. More specifically, the form of indoctrination is postmodernist in nature. And postmodernism is viewed as a form of chaos magic.
Major cities in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, including Eugene and Portland were hubs for members of the Beat movement and 60s counterculture.
Author, lifelong junkie, open pedophile and occultist William S. Burroughs frequently visited Portland, and stayed at a hotel, called the St. Francis located in SW Portland, Oregon that was torn down in November of 2001.
Burroughs also collaborated with other artists who inadvertently helped to glamorize heroin use, such as Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain, who also frequented Portland, where his wife, Courtney Love also lived.
As an aside, Courtney Love’s name is just one of many that happened to appear in the rolodex belonging to the late Pedophile Island owner, Jeffrey Epstein, who was widely reported to have committed suicide in his cell at New York City’s Metropolitan Correctional Center, on August 20, 2019. That’s of course assuming he wasn’t murdered, as many people theorize.
As independent researcher Amazing Polly points out in her video, titled Epstein Pedo Prof Connection and NXIVM Human Experiments, Epstein also provided thousands of dollars worth of funding for Harvard University’s Program for Evolutionary Dynamics, Directed by Martin Nowak.
In July of this year a 57-year-old chemistry professor from Portland State University, Niles Lehman was arrested and charged with 35 counts of child pornography. Amazing Polly also discovered Lehman and Nowak both worked on a paper titled, Dynamics of prebiotic RNA reproduction illuminated by chemical game theory, published on April 18, 2016.
Another known pedophile supporter and Portland local, Gus van Sant filmed scenes from the film Drugstore Cowboy at the St. Francis. The film is one of many that also helped to glamorize drug use for many fans.
An additional hub for the glamorization of drug use (particularly psychedelics) has been Reed College. It is just one of many liberal arts schools in the U.S. known to be most friendly towards drug use.
Apple founder and Silicon Valley influencer Steve Jobs graduated from Reed and, while attending courses there, ingested LSD with Daniel Kottke, who would also become one of Apple’s first employees.
LSD is also widely considered to be among the top forms of psychedelics used to create hyper-suggestibility among its users, many of who were immersed in 60s counterculture and weaponized anthropology.
It is also no wonder that Apple hired tech experts specifically for the purposes of designing its technology to be addictive for its users.
Back to Oregon, though – another proponent of LSD, Ken Kesey called the city of Eugene his home. And his book, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest was also considered to be of the Postmodernist genre.
Along with the “Godfather” of LSD, Timothy Leary, he helped glamorize the use of LSD to generations of users through his involvement with the Acid Tests and the Merry Pranksters.
Those associated with the Merry Pranksters included the Warlocks (who would later be known as the Grateful Dead), Neal Cassady, Wavy Gravy, Stewart Brand and Paul Krassner.
The Acid Test occurred in 1964, during the same year as JFK’s assassination and the Cuban Missile Crisis, and involved a bus drive from California to New York’s World Fair, and then back to California. It also involved the consumption of vast amounts of LSD, as well as a run-in with Leary, himself.
Author Tom Wolfe popularized the event in his book The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, and – along with a number of other individuals and organizations – funded a statue of Ken Kesey that was installed in Eugene, Oregon’s Kesey Square, and unveiled in 2003. Listed among the funders is Nike founder and CEO Phil Knight and Grateful Dead founding member Phil Lesh.
Readers may remember in late 2018 Lesh contributed $10,000 to the GoFundMe campaign belonging to Brett Kavenaugh accuser and research psychologist at Stanford University, Christine Blasey Ford.
As discussed in UnSpun 169 – Dr. Hans Utter: “Retrospective on Music & Mind Control,” Lesh was also friends and former college buddies with Hank Harrison, the father of musician and widow of the late Kurt Cobain, Courtney Love.
Eugene residents are so grateful for the Grateful Dead an installation was constructed in winter of 2006, by ceramic artist Betsy Wolfston, called “Marker of Origin.”
It shows a timeline of events that included the 1995 death of Grateful Dead frontman, Jerry Garcia.
Garcia and other band members have also been connected to Freemasonry. And – given there are 33 degrees said to exist in Masonry – is it any wonder Oregon was also the 33rd state to join the Union, on February 14th, 1859?
Consequently, one Grateful Dead fan who lived in Portland also brought The Matrix film series to my attention about three years before the theatrical release of the first installment. He informed me there would be a film soon released in theaters that causes a shift in public consciousness.
We both worked as fundraisers for a nonprofit that participated in government lobbying and advocacy for on all kinds of issues relating to public health and the environment.
Years earlier, I’d gone on on trip to work on one of the campaigns to stop clearcutting in Oregon’s old growth forests. If I recall correctly, it was in the city of Grants Pass. A carload of us camped out overnight to canvass door-to-door, and drove back the next evening.
On the way back I got into a discussion with one of the other canvassers – a young hippie woman – about future utopian societies, in relation to a book I had been assigned to read for a political science class I had taken in Portland, Oregon.
The book was Ecotopia, by Ernest Callenbach. It is an eco-socialist science fiction work that describes a future Pacific Northwest that includes automobiles similar to those used in The Flintstones series, men who have the ability to breastfeed, and a society where people argue out in the open about their life issues, where everyone else can see.
That particular element of the political agenda being pushed in the book is reminiscent of the concept of the open society, a term first coined by French philosopher Henri Bergson.
Elements of the book also seem to be a part of the social engineering taking place in areas, such as the city of Portland, where a self-identified male (“he” was actually born as a female) gave birth to a baby in 2017.
Also described in the book is the Cascadia bioregion that in turn also inspired a movement – the Cascadian Independence Movement – that is based in the idea. The bioregion includes the entire state of Washington and parts of Oregon, Northern California, Nevada, Montana, Alaska, Idaho, Wyoming, British Columbia and Yukon.
Cascadian bioregionalists imagine the area splitting off from the rest of the United States, and becoming its own kind of separate entity, with its own identity based in the local flora and fauna and unique landscape.
Back to the conversation I had with the hippie woman who I traveled with. One highlight of the conversation was a prophecy she learned about foretelling a time when hackers are viewed Messiahs of the 21st-century.
Years later, after the release of The Matrix series, the hacking group Anonymous surfaced online. For anyone reading this who may still be unaware, the idea of Anonymous was also inspired by another film directed by the Wachowskis, V for Vendetta. So, those who identify themselves as Anons also made use of the Guy Fawkes mask worn by the film’s main character, V, whether wearing it during protests or using the image online.
So, it naturally peaked my interest. And so did Julian Assange, who was the co-founder and former managing editor of the publication, WikiLeaks. WikiLeaks publications helped to spur the Arab Spring, as well as Occupy Wall Street, which was inspired by the Arab Spring.
And the same masks worn by Anonymous were also worn by many protestors involved with Occupy Wall Street in New York City, and other locations where the protests were being held, both in and outside of the United States. More on that in a future article, though.
Elements of the Cascadian Independence Movement also contain similar narratives as the ones presented on both sides of the political divide currently taking place on a statewide level, and in Portland, Oregon.
Some elements of the movement are far-left liberal and green socialist, while others who are described as far-right and conservative allegedly co-opted the secessionist principles for their own ends to create an Aryan Nation in the Pacific Northwest. The group is known as the Northwest Front, and their website ceased to exist since the time this article was first published.
These same tensions are also reflected in the conflict between ANTIFA, who are representative of more anarcho-socialist political views, and Patriot Prayer, who represent views more commonly represented by the alt-right.
These tensions can be seen in recent protests that havew taken place during the last few years, including the protest that occurred on August 17, 2019.
An article in The Register-Guard from February of this year also describes the divide as one that is urban-rural. The article’s author, Max Denning wrote, “The state’s rural and urban split has deepened with the growth of Portland, the state’s only metropolitan area with a population in the country’s top 120 — Portland ranks 25th. Salem, the state’s second biggest metro area, is 126th.”
And the divide also runs much deeper. Whether or not people choose to admit to it, the Wachowskis (who, themselves identify as transgendered) are involved in spreading a political agenda. This can be exemplified in Lana (who was born as Laurence) Wachowski’s acceptance of the Human Rights Campaign’s 2012 Visibility Award.
In turn the Human Rights Campaign – an organization with a platform that emphasizes gender equality and LGBTQ rights – was co-founded by Democratic National Committee member Terry Bean, who was charged with sexual abuse of minor in January of 2019.
As Michelle Malkin points out in her July 10, 2019 article, Bean and Epstein have also both donated significant sums of money to the Democratic Party. In the same article she also names former Stonewall Democratic Club steering committee member, Ed Buck as a major donor.
For any reading this who may be unaware, the Stonewall Democratic Club was also named after the Stonewall Inn, where the Stonewall riots took place on June 28, 1969. A far more in-depth historical account of the connection between the Stonewall Riots and the LGBTQ movement may be heard on the podcast, Our Interesting Times – Episode 107, “Powers and Principalities.”
In February of this year Portland local YouTuber Kif Davis confronted Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum about the campaign contributions she received from Terry Bean. And Bean also contributed to other Oregon political officials, including Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamaci, Congressman Earl Blumenhaur and Senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley. All political officials returned the money.
However Rosenblum’s husband, Richard Meeker was also a co-owner and publisher of Willamette Week, and published classified ads through the website, Backpage.
The company’s co-founder, Michael Lacy (who was also the editor of the Arizona weekly publication the Phoenix New Times) was arrested in October of 2016 on prostitution charges stemming from California, along with former New Times publisher and Backpage co-founder, Jim Larkin.
Later, in April of 2018, both their homes were raided by Federal law enforcement officers, and the Backpage website was “seized.”
Lacey was charged in a federal human trafficking investigation. As of 2016 Rosenblum never fully cut ties with Backpage, that year she vowed one of her top priorities in her re-election campaign would be “protecting the most vulnerable.”
Bean also supported the campaigns of former Portland Mayor, Charlie Hales, former Oregon Governor, Barbara Roberts (who defended Bean before his 2014 arrest), present Oregon Governor Kate Brown – the first openly bisexual Governor of Oregon – and Portland City Commissioners Jo Ann Hardesty and Nick Fish.
Fish is also friends with Gus van Sant, who he also references in a 2014 article he published on the Portland Tribune’s website titled, My View: Oregon is the real star of the ‘Wild’ movie.
Van Sant also directed a film about the first openly gay elected official in California, Harvey Milk, who van Sant also praised publicly. Reports surfaced that Milk used to lure underage boys into his San Diego apartment when he served in the Navy, to have sexual relations with them.
As an example, in his 1988 book, The Mayor of Castro Street, Randy Shilts published a photo of Milk (who was in his early 30s at the time), with his then homosexual lover, Jack Galen McKinley, who was 16-17 years of age.
Additionally, as an homage to Milk, Portland recently changed the name of its downtown magnet for homosexuality – SW Stark Street – to SW Harvey Milk St.
In North Portland, at the St. Johns Library, Multnomah County Library also hosted Drag Queen Storytime with Carla Rossi. Not only is this using taxpayer dollars to indoctrinate children into normalization of truth inversion, but – when the children attending these events are pictured laying on top of Rossi (aka Anthony Hudson) – it is arguably helping to normalize pederasty.
In the city of Woodboorn, outside of Oregon State’s capital of Salem, parents sued their 8-year-old son’s school – Nellie Muir Elementary School – after finding out his teacher had “…one-on-one conversations about his gender identity.”
House Bill 2023 also passed through Oregon’s House and Senate earlier this year, which mandates that LGBTQ identity be taught in Oregon’s K-12 public schools.
The Family Policy Alliance website accurately stated, “…teachers will be forced to teach radical identity politics in the classroom, whether or not it has anything to do with the subject being taught.”
This is indoctrination and not education. And it has been influencing the modern public education system across the United States for decades. And this is especially the case in places like Portland, Oregon, which also happens to be the most religiously unaffiliated city in the country.
And it is no wonder Oregon has the second highest rate of unsheltered homeless people in the United States, when postmodernist indoctrination effectively ensures that chaos reigns supreme.
According to the Encyclopedia of New Religious Movements, by Peter Clarke, “…Chaos Magick could be described as the union of traditional occult ideas…with applied post-modernism (pp. 105-106).”
As Stephen R.C. Hicks writes in his book Explaining Postmodernism, “Our most strident [postmodernist] voices tell us that “Truth” is a myth.”
Additionally, numerous papers have been published that spell out strategies for implementing postmodernism in the U.S. public education system. The Abstract of one article published by the University of Oxford claims its purpose is:
“…to discuss strategies for the secondary, public school educators to implement postmodern thinking in the United States of America.
Postmodernism is a set of strategic practices that erase limits or norms to abide by placed upon people in society.
The time is now for educators to be recognizant of these changes. Public school administrators must incorporate postmodern ideas into the secondary school system to implement quality programs in their schools that aids in resolving change. If this is not done, secondary public schools will be left behind.”
Furthermore the authors of the paper, A&M University’s Karen Dupree Jacobs and Dr. William Alan Kritsonsis, PhD, claim that implementation of postmodernism into K-12 public education is an answer to “external problems and issues” experienced by children, such as “gang violence, bullying, drug/alcohol abuse or illegal distributing or selling of drugs, teens who are abused for being homosexual, teenage pregnancy, physical and verbal abuse by parents and relationship partners, teens dealing with mental illness, etc.”
Yet, there is no discussion anywhere in the article about how the view on objective truth that is central to postmodernist philosophy is one of the main reasons why these issues are happening in the first place.
The (further) implementation of postmodernism into the public education system will only do more to enhance these issues by ensuring children (especially children who are coming from homes with little to no existence of moral foundation) are being indoctrinated into the worldview that truth does not exist.
Postmodernist indoctrination has also been implemented into Oregon’s public university system, including academic institutions such as Portland State University.
And it will lead to more chaos both in Portland across the country, as opposed to establishing what was lost by replacing the Classical Education model based in logos (or Truth) with postmodernism.
This indoctrination is also at the heart of the issues taking place in Portland, Oregon, as well as issues in other parts of the country, such as Seattle, Washington, and the California cities of San Francisco and Los Angeles.
These issues are also fuel for the fire of the conflicts taking place in Oregon and elsewhere, which can be seen in the events that took place in Portland over the weekend of August 17, 2019, that involved clashes between Patriot Prayer and ANTIFA.
For example, when Oregon’s progressive elite (the same ones who have helped to enable some other practices cited earlier in this article) funnel billions of taxpayer dollars into a public education system that effectively ensures a lack of logos-based moral foundation, it also enables broken families, joblessness, homelessness, drug use and crime – the same issues liberal progressive elitists claim as part of their political platforms. It ultimately becomes part of a self-reinforcing feedback loop, that is based in a continued cycle of chaos.
A significant amount of those taxpayer funds are also being funneled from traditional religious families, such as those who live in rural areas, who would otherwise have no interest in participating in this kind of destructive feedback loop, and may likely feel simultaneously threatened and angered at the way cities such as Portland are effectively acting in opposition to all they seek to preserve and hold dear.
Regardless of what you may think of his views, one example of a well-framed argument against this destructive feedback loop are the views expressed by Theodore Shoebat on what he refers to as the “Republic of Sodom.”
In fact, Portland might be more aptly referred to as the Peoples’ Republic of Sodom, rather than it’s kitchy, pro-communist nickname, the People’s Republic of Portland.
Some have brought up the possibility that Portland, Oregon could end up being a launching ground for another looming civil war in this country, something many Americans likely would not want to see take place.
If postmodernist and chaos indoctrination in Portland and elsewhere continues on the same path, this could very well end up becoming a reality.
